First off, the main riff for this song was lifted straight from the Entombed skit 'Hey Bitch', which is a delightful, tender love song.

The latest recording of this song was made on my new recording equipment as a test to see if/how everything worked. I stripped the song down to just two tracks, a vocal/guitar track recorded in one take and a 'lead' guitar track. For those interested, the new recording equipment included a Behringer Xenyx 1002 mixer, Behringer MS40 monitors, and a Rode M3 condenser microphone.

For those who hate progress prefer the older recordings: The first version of this song, which I uploaded originally on 18/05/09 is still available. There are a few extra tracks, like some distorted guitar chords toward the end that aren't in the new version. Download it here. I also recorded a demo of this song. The demo was played (poorly) on the accoustic guitar. Download it here. Is that enough versions for you?

This is in a similar vein to SP2 in that the lyrics started off as a joke and then I strapped them onto a proper song. Maybe I should make some bold concept album about computers as JK suggested.

On the latest version, the microphone picked up the sound of the PC hard-drive loading at the end of the track. Seeing as the song is about computers and all, I decided to leave this sound on.

On the first version, the clean guitar solo towards the end was recording in the same take as the vocals. If the recording levels aren't too high, the old shitty mic can get a half decent recording sound on guitars.

These are mostly here for my convenience.
