»Notes: Waiting 'neath the Moon

The lyrics in this song are supposed to be all cryptic and fantasy-themed. However, you can read them to be talking about Arriva's West Yorkshire bus service and it actually holds up remarkably well.
The middle instrumental section isn't entirely unlike the outro to Entombed's 'Left Hand Path'.
The outro is a slightly altered version of
In My Mind, which was for a long time the oldest thing on the audio page. The song was so old it actually predates me getting a drum machine, I think it was recorded around February 2005.
I wanted to make a song that reached the eight minute mark. I sort of compromised my usual mantra of 'cut the fucking bullshit', and added the lenghty instrumental sections and repeated a lot of the lyrics. I got the idea of 'cut the fucking bullshit' from the 'Fans Rule' documentary on Slayer's DVD War at the Warfield.
This is one of the few songs I have made so far which incorporates tempo changes.
I think if this song suffers from anything it's lack of an obvious structure and simply being overloaded with ideas. It'd been ages since I'd recorded a new song though so I was eager to cram in all the good ideas I had (there's still some left over).
This song was originally called 'Sacrifice' but I had to rename it to 'Waiting 'neath the Moon' when I submitted it to Newgrounds. This name however has grown on me and I will henceforth refer to the song as that.
These are mostly here for my convenience.
